The good news is that you can find a match to almost everything you used in a gym, and even better. But you need to think of getting gear that you are going to use, otherwise you will be simply overwhelmed by the variety of choices on the market.
First thing you need to do is to evaluate your own needs and priorities concerning your training program. Basically, it can fall into one or more categories like stamina training, strength, or cardio workout; you might want to lose weight, but it can be included into the stamina or strength training.
Remember that often simple gear may do the best for you. If you want to develop strength, a resistance band or dumbbells are a good choice. For stamina training you can use an exercise bike or a treadmill. This will also work for your heart.
As a good addition you can buy fitness watches to enhance your workout. You will not only be able to trace your own progress, but also make it safe by staying in a heart safe zone by using the heart rate monitor provided by these watches.
When your goals are set, the next step is to determine your budget. It is an important step to make, with will prevent you from over spendings. Market today is full of various models and brands, capable to do anything on Earth, but you obviously don’t need that. Go for simple but necessary things and save you time and money.
Consider the space required for your training gear; you should have enough space for it and for your movement around. Normally the most common places for that are: a spare room, your garage or the basement. Choose the place with the least amount of distractions.
