What To Do If you Cant Sleep
No CommentsThe following article is going to give you some tips and show you what to do if you cant sleep. Simply put if you are having troubles sleeping then you may be practicing bad habits that are putting pressure on your sleep system. Put too much pressure and your sleep patterns will get all messed up and before you know it your body will not know when to be awake and when to be asleep. This causes poor mental performance and also depression. If you are suffering from sleep loss then you need to get it fixed as quick as possible.
Get Into a Pattern
The first thing that you can think about doing is getting back into a regular sleeping pattern. Try going to bed at the same time each and every night. You need to also get up at the same time each day so do not forget that ether. You do not necessarily need to go to bed and wake up at the exact same time but keep it as close as possible. You will eventually find that your body will be able to follow this pattern and after a few days you will not even need an alarm clock anymore.
The Weekends
This theory and practice works great but there is a problem that always seems to mess it up, and that is the weekend. Generally speaking people sleep in on the weekend and go to bed at different times, this is bad for your sleep system and can do more harm then good. Come Monday you will be more tired and lazier as a result. So you need to have discipline and keep your schedule intact even on your days off. A day here and there is alright but as soon as you make it a habit your system will get messed up and there goes your sleep.
