The Best Acne Home Remedies
No CommentsAcne are pimples caused by accumulation of things like excessive oil production, clogged pores, hormones, and bacteria. There are various home remedies for acne that help treat or even cure acne. Some of the remedies include:
- Toothpaste for acne: this is the easiest found treatment for acne, as it does not cure. Toothpaste has some high sodium content that dries the pimples. Since most toothpastes do not have the ingredients that directly control the breakout of acne or that kills the acne causing bacteria, this treatment becomes best for overnight or emergency pimples. The procedure involves taking toothpaste the size of a pea, spread it on the pimple and let it dry overnight or for a period of 15 to 20 minutes then rinse it off.
- Minimizing the pores using mint and vinegar solutions: when mint and vinegar are mixed together, they make a combination for minimizing pores that is effective. Minimizing pores helps the skin look more attractive and reduces the chances of one getting black heads or acne. The mixture, used as a toner and preferably at night since it has a very bad smell helps reduce chances of developing acne.
- Garlic for acne: it is one of the most effective cures. This is because it has very strong anti-biotic and anti-inflammatory components. Since bacteria cause acne, garlic kills the bacteria and get to the core cause of the problem. The best part is that bacteria do not seem to develop resistance to garlic so one does not have to increase their dosage even after using it for a long period. The procedure is taking fresh slices of garlic with either food or boil them, cool it, and drink the juice.
These are among the best home remedies for acne. They are also cheap and readily available just about anywhere.
