Nutritional Milk Derivative Based Pet Joint Supplements
No CommentsIf your pet is suffering with joint problems there are quite a few ways to treat them. Most of these treatments involve anti-inflammatory drugs of some sort or another. There is no doubt that these drugs work and in fact they are very effective, but if you are reluctant to go straight for the anti-inflammatory and steroid treatments then you may be interested in trying a nutritional supplement based on a milk derivative. This milk based supplement is based on milk protein from hyper-immunised cows and the active ingredient is Microlactin. This has shown itself to be able to reduce inflammation whatever the cause which is particularly usful in older animals. Skeletal problems in any animal will can cause inflammation and stiffness as well as pain. Early indications seem to point toward this supplement being very useful in avoiding the need for stronger steroidal treatments in some cases. If these supplements can stop or even delay the use of stronger treatments then this can only be a good thing for your pet.
There is no doubt that it is better to keep the use of steroids as a last resort, and one of the key benefits of using this supplement is the fact that it is all natural. With it being a natural treatment it can have some great results with out causing gastro-intestinal issues that are so often associated with anti-inflammatory products. The only one of your pets that may not like it will be your cat as some cats do have an intolerance to milk based proteins. But seeing as this treatment is focused on dogs, cats and horses generally it works really well. If any of your pets show any signs of intolerance towards these treatments then you should stop immediately. This drug is used in the treatment of inflammation on cats, dogs and horses and because there are no immuno-suppressants involved it is viewed as a natural treatment.
