Dak Ralter’s is one of those memorable sublime sub-heroes that we are so accustomed to meeting throughout those that fought for the Rebel Alliance. He was a young soldier that saw the end of his days sooner than later, but also a soldier that only needed a moment to make a lasting impression on you. Dak Ralter was raised in extremely unfortunate circumstances. Ever since birth, Dak had been a slave in a Kalist VI labor colony, but his life turned around when at seventeen he became the friend of a Rebel pilot that was shot down and captured. While being held captive, Dak helped him escape and joined in the flee for freedom with him. The Rebel died, but Dak went on to join the Rebel Alliance and eventually became a fighter pilot. He was one of those optimistic individuals that felt he himself could destroy the Empire and he would, but the valiant young fight was put to rest when he took a direct hit while in Luke Skywalker’s snowspeeder, putting an early end to his more than promising career.

The LEGO Dak Ralter 4-piece minifig comes with our little hero attired in an orange flight suit and a white helmet with blue marking. His torso has black/grey printing that matches that of the Rebel Pilots so well known in the Star Wars series. He’s feature in three sets: 4500 Rebel Snowspeeder, 7130 Snowspeeder, 7666 Hoth Rebel Base.

The LEGO Rebel Snowspeeder was a part of the Rebel Alliance arsenal of fighter crafts and is approximately 5.3 meters in legnth, has laser cannons , a harpoon and tow cables. It also comes with 3 minifigs: The LEGO Luke Skywalker figure, Dack Ralter and a Rebel Trooper. The 4500 Rebel Snowspeeder set was released once in 1999 and once in 2004 and they each contain 214 pieces.
