Calories In A Banana
No CommentsMore and more women than before, tend to watch their weight. Obesity is soaring at an alarming rate so this comes as no surprise. Studies have shown that one person out of three are overweight. Adding to that one person out of five are considered morbidly obese. Statistics like that are alarming. Obesity is a major cause of health issues, and it can even be fatal.
Keeping a count of the calories that you use in the day is a good way to avoid becoming overweight. Women ask questions, one in particular is about calories in banana, usually considered healthy by most people although packed with sugar. An average banana has approximately a 172-calorie count. A donut has around 185 calories. When you compare them both, you can understand that it may not be the best food to eat often. You may want to eat fewer bananas in your daily diet. Because after you make a comparison to a fruit like strawberries, you realize approximately twelve of them equal only 28 calories. The difference is huge, and tells you just how much bananas are not the fruit that is best for you. The sugar content is very high, and that it is not a good fruit to add too many of to a healthy diet plan.
So if you still want to include bananas in your diet, simply eat a limited amount, and in the earlier part of your day. That way the body has time to burn off the added calories. Gathering up these health tips for women are important even if you do not have a weight problem. There are plenty of women, who rarely ever had to make an exercise plan to lose weight, and still did manage to stay slim all their lives. They are now dealing with overweight issues.
