6 Social Media tools you should always carry with you!
No CommentsThere are a wide range of tools available to help you manage your social media content online. Without these tools it’s hard to figure out if you’re making progress and also you end up spending more time than you should. The 6 tools below are some of the free ones that we use that we find very helpful.
1. Hootsuite - This is a great tool for managing twitter and more recently Facebook was also added on. Schedule your posts, split your tweets up into columns and much more. If you’re on twitter you should have hootsuite.
2. Social bro is a twitter analytics tool which provides you with some great information about your twitter followers. Who is retweeting your tweets, where do your followers live, who is your best follower. Some great information!
3. Shareaholic - This is a browser extension which is allows you to easily share content you come across to your social networks.
4. Social Mention is a social media monitoring tool that is provided for free. There is also the possibility of setting up Social media alerts so you can get an e-mail when someone mentions certain keywords on twitter, facebook etc.
5. Google alerts is a free application provided by google that allows you to set up alerts based on keywords. If these keywords are mentioned on the web anywhere you will get an e-mail about it. Great for keeping an ear open for someone talking about you or your competitor!
6. BufferApp - A cool free app that allows you to share content you find on the web to your twitter followers. But the good thing about this is that you can share lots of articles at the same time but buffer app will automatically schedule them out for delivery meaning that your followers get regular content instead of everything all at once.
These are just 6 of the apps that we use. Normally in Social Media Training Courses you pick up a lot of information about these apps or just follow blogs like this!
